My Health Insurance
Help! I am 52 with a serious condition, I am not old enough for Medicare and have been turned down for Disability once. I started that process January of 2007. I cannot work, my husband is on dissability for cancer of the esophagus. He is 63.
I spplied for CMSP (County Medical Services Program) a part of the Medi-cal agency (I guess). I pay a co-pay. It was the same year I started the Disability application, and it was 110.00 for me to pay for co-pay. Since then the economy is worse, and I pay 345.00 c0-pay per month! If I am to receive my medications, I don't get enough food or gas. I so hope that I hurry up and get older, so that I will be covered. That is a crime to feel that I wish I could just throw away my time so that life might be a little easier. Is this American?
That is one of the big reasons why I voted for our president! We have some hope that it might get better.
